Overview

Canasta is a rummy-type card game where teams score points by forming melds of seven or more cards (called canastas). Wild cards (jokers and 2s) can be used to enhance melds.

Be the first team to reach 5,000 points by forming canastas and going out.

How Scorecard tracks Canasta

Points from the value of melded cards, bonus for canastas (natural and mixed), and going out bonus. Unmelded cards in hand are deducted at the end.
