About Euchre

Euchre is a fast-paced trick-taking game played with a 24-card deck. The trump suit is decided by bidding, and the team that wins the bid must take at least 3 of the 5 tricks. 'Going alone' doubles the reward.

Objective

Be the first team to reach the target score (default 10 points).

How Scorecard tracks Euchre

Making your bid: 3–4 tricks = 1 point, 5 tricks = 2 points. Going alone and taking all 5 = 4 points. Euchre (opponents stop you) = 2 points to opponents.

Must win by two
Game continues until one team leads by 2 points after reaching target.
Renege penalty
Points awarded to opponents when a team reneges (default 2).
